Surprisingly hilarious thanks to its great cast (especially Timothy Olyphant), this show's graphic violence can often be overlooked by its engaging storyline.
4. A Series of Unfortunate Events: Season 1
Thanks to its lighter tone compared to the mediocre film adaptation, Daniel Handler's best-selling series finally gets the telling it deserves.
3. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return: Season 1
Capturing the heart and sole of the original series, MST3K returns better than ever.
2. Black Mirror: Season 4
Though it may be the weakest season, it still has all the bleak charm and brilliant storytelling that only Charlie Brooker can bring to his technological dystopias. Arkangel is officially my new favorite episode of the series.
1. Stranger Things 2
One of the most amazing seasons of television, with perfect performances, great scares, and a dramatic story that continues the series perfectly.
Bottom 5 Worst TV Shows of 2017
5. The Mick
Either no one has good tastes in comedies anymore or I don't, but whoever made this show certainly doesn't know how to entertain me.
4. The Orville
Never quite deciding whether it wants to be a parody or an homage, Seth MacFarlane's latest show further proves that maybe he should expand his ideas outside of comedy.
3. Better Things: Season 2
A comedy where everyone is just walking around, dead-eyed, and never trying to be funny. I just can't see what everyone thinks is so great about this show. If this is your real life, you seriously need to re-evalutate it.
2. Twin Peaks
This 18 episode mini-series covers enough events that should have only taken up 2 or 3 episodes. A painfully slow and strange mess that represents a dangerously new low in David Lynch's once perfect career.
1. 13 Reasons Why
Unoriginal and mean-spirited, helmed by a lead character that represents everything I hated about high school, this horribly derivative young adult story proves only one thing: if you are this miserable as a teenager: GET HELP, NOT REVENGE!
